• OUR MISSION: To design an all-inclusive compact and lightweight fire starter that simplifies fire lighting in all weather conditions. We wanted to make fire lighting in the field as dependable and efficient as possible, ensuring it can be relied upon when you need it most!
• THE FERRO ROD: The Ferro Rod is extremely thick, and allows for up to 20,000 strikes. Manufactured using our blend of Forest Fundamentals Ferrocerium™ which produces large showers of molten sparks at 3,000º C (5,500º F), but we were also careful not to make the rods too soft to ensure longevity. The Ferro Rod is removable.
• TINDER: The Parrafin Wax Infused Jute Wicks are extremely slow burning (30 minutes burn-time). The wicks do not extinguish in high winds and will ignite even after being submerged in water. Also ideal for longer expeditions, where conserving resources and packing lightweight is essential. With preparation, just 1" of the wick is needed. To extinguish, simply pull the wick back inside the bellows. The wicks can also be replaced.
• THE CASE | FIRE BELLOWS: Everything is secured within a sleek, lightweight anodized aluminum sleeve. The sleeve stays cool to the touch and also doubles as a micro pocket below. If your fire needs some attention, simply remove the wick and blow through the bellows. Supply oxygen into the heart of the fire without singing your hair off!
• STEALTH FIRE STRIKERS™: The strikers have a raised striking edge which removes more material when striking, producing larger showers of sparks. Made from heat-treated Steel, the strikers are extremely durable. The striker also performs as a scraper/prying tool, spanner, and bottle opener.
• 550 'SURVIVAL CORD' LANYARDS: This cord includes strands of copper wire, fishing line, waxed jute, and parachute cord. These materials serve a multitude of purposes in the field, including repairing shoelaces, fishing, constructing snares, building shelters, and more.
What's Included? • 1x Aluminium Stealth Fire Starter Case / Bellows • 1x Large 100mm x 12.7mm Ferro Rod • 1x Stealth Fire Starter Ferro Rod Striker • 1x 65cm (25") Wax-Infused Wick • 1x 1m (40") 'survival cord' lanyard • 1x Stainless Steel Carabiner Clip
How to use the Stealth Fire Starter:
First, using your Stealth Fire Striker, fluff up one end of the wick and ignite it using the Ferro Rod. Then, you can move the burning wick to parts of the fire which require the most attention. The wick is resistant to wind and burns extremely slow so you don’t have to worry about it going out! To extinguish the flame, simply pull the wick back through the bellows chamber. This works by cutting off the flames’ access to Oxygen.
If your fire needs some attention, simply pull out the wick and blow through the micro bellows. The Ferro Rod can also be removed. We sell replacement parts for all of Stealth’s components. For more detailed instructions, please click here.

Love it ! I will make a review on my youtube channel soon ;)
Juste one question on my mind, is the ferro rod changeable ? Can we pull it off and add a new one ?
Ask for proper fitting wicks, as the proper sized ones were unavailable with supply. Narrow wicks work but just frustrating with wick drop-outs and smoulder on extinguish.
Straight out of the pack the stealth fire starter worked brilliantly! So simple yet very effective. This will definitely be my new go to for lighting up my titanium nesting stove. (Another fantastic product!)
Dear friends, I was very impressed by your product's originality and quality of workmanship. Your fire starter, including your other products, would certainly fill a gap in the Czech market. I am thinking about representing your company in the Czech and Slovak Republics. I would like to try all your products and come up with a strategy that would lead to mutual cooperation.
Best regards

Greetings from Brisbane, Australia, home of terrifyingly lethal and occasionally uncontrollable bushfires. Rx'd this today AM so naturally had to set something alight with it.
Like others, I struggled to fit the thickly waxed jute cord into the holder. I took a sharp knife and trimmed each strand at an angle, in line with the strand's lay.
That gave a point that was tapered enough to twist into the holder from the "fire end". The rest can be pulled through, wrapped around the holder and ferro rod (thus binding them together) and tied off with a hitch. Neat, compact, can be used without untying (2nd pic)
1st pic shows the trimmed ends burning, even after I dumped them in the toilet before realising that I'd do better to use them for a demo and fished them out.
The stealth fire starter is a great piece kit.
It is practical, easy to use and makes fire starting a simple process.
It is a well made item, and adds a modern twist to a the old slow match.
I recommend it to all who spend time outside in the woods.
It takes a little bit of prep to be able to take a spark (10 mins tops), but then it fires up great
It even inspired me to have a wee camp out that weekend, just so I could use it
I'll definitely be back for more kit, if it's all this quality
Excellent piece of kit.
One thing I am adding to it is a small strip of rough metal like a metal file... This roughs up the cord perfectly, and with minimal effort and doubles up roughing up small bark for kindling as well
Not had it in the woods yet but done some testing in my garden .the whole thing is just the bomb and the steel throws sparks as good as any i have used .the wicks are great first class bit of kit and all for £20 is phenominal
This Ferro rod has a genius design.
It's very easy to get the rope to catch fire - usually one - maximally two set of sparks will do and even though the flame can be comparatively large when put next to a lighter or matches, the rope will last for very long time.
In my honest opinion, this is the best ferro rod I've ever used.
Thank you so much for this amazing product. I've been waiting for this to come back in stock. So excited that I bought one for my husband one for myself and one for each of my kids! Excellent fast shipping, too.
