Today, in the world of online shopping, no matter what product you are looking to buy, in every industry the choices are overwhelming.

For years, as our competitors do, we outsourced our Ferro rods (the rods themselves, not the handles) from larger suppliers. While these rods were of great quality! We didn't want to just claim to have the best quality rods, we wanted to develop a blend of ferrocerium that was genuinely superior to its counterparts - not just a facade of clever branding!

Once we started getting enough sales to fund the development we started straight away testing an insane amount of different rods
and ferrocerium blends. A year later we arrived at the result - Forest Fundamentals Ferrocerium™.

We believe our Forest Fundamentals Ferrocerium™ blend is an industry leader. Our ferrocerium rods produce large showers of
molten sparks. We believe we have developed what we think is the perfect balance between softness and durability.

It was a long process, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. At the end of the day, it just provided us with an excuse to spend hours using
