Forest Fundamentals was founded by Elvis, who began by selling his handmade products on Etsy. While it has grown since then, we remain true to our roots—still hand-making a few of our best-sellers in collaboration with outside makers.

All of our waxed canvas bags are treated with Martexin Original Wax, a blend of natural, food-grade waxes. This finish provides long-lasting weather resistance and develops a rich, time-worn patina as it ages.

We take pride in our craftsmanship. Most products feature overlock stitching for durability and are built using high-quality fixings and materials such as solid brass hardware, recycled plastic toggles, and 550 paracord.
