Gas Conversion Kit | For the Nesting Stoves

We’re pleased to finally introduce the Gas Conversion Kits for our Nesting Stoves. The set includes everything needed to turn the FF Nesting Stoves into an efficient gas stove system, bar the gas itself!

There’s no denying the efficiency of gas stoves, especially when it comes to covering a lot of distance quickly. Gas setups like Jetboil and MSR stoves are known for being super lightweight, reliable and offering extremely quick boil times. This setup is no different.

Compact & Easily Stored

The set remains extremely compact. Each individual component can be broken down and stored neatly inside the stove’s bottom storage compartment, inside one of our zipped pouches, or everything, including a 100 g gas canister, can be packed inside a 750 ml cup.

Suitable for All Sizes of Cups, Pots & Pans

Cups with a smaller diameter than the stove are supported at the optimal height using the cross supports, while larger pots and pans can be rested directly on top of the stove.

When using larger cookware, the cut-outs around the stove’s circumference allow the flames and hot gases to travel around the base and edges of the pot or pan, helping improve heat transfer and gas efficiency.

Good Gas Control

The flame control valve we’ve chosen for this set is very responsive, making it easy to control the heat output, whether you’re looking to boil something as quickly as possible or simmer an MRE over a lower heat.

Protected from the Wind

The Nesting Stove’s body helps shelter the Burner Head from the wind. As with alcohol burners, smaller cups also sit slightly lower inside the stove, helping to limit crosswinds.

Remote Gas Canister

The 1M long braided gas hose offers a few benefits over standard gas stoves. Keeping the flame control valve away from the burner makes it easy to adjust the heat output when sitting down, without having to fiddle around with the stove itself. If temperatures drop, the gas canister can also be easily wrapped inside a jumper to help keep it warm.

Third-Party Components

We like to be as transparent as possible with everything we sell. Although these components have been thoroughly tested by us, unlike the rest of the FF range, the Gas Conversion Kit components have been designed and manufactured by a third party.

Replaceable Components

All parts included in the kit can be replaced if broken or lost. If you need a replacement, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
