We've recently started working with other outdoor brands — offering the same design and manufacturing capabilities we use for our own products, whether that's fully bespoke or customised stock.
We've recently started working with other outdoor brands — offering the same design and manufacturing capabilities we use for our own products, whether that's fully bespoke or customised stock.
All of our commercial range is designed by Elvis (Founder), alongside a team of product testers, and we control every aspect of manufacturing — cutting out the middleman keeps development time short and upfront costs low. We're passionate about the outdoors and have years of hands-on experience with outdoor and bushcraft products — we understand how these products are used, what they need to withstand, and what matters to customers.
Fully Custom Designed Products:
Our commercial range gives a good overview of what we can do — we have a reliable network of material suppliers and manufacturers in the UK, USA, and China, and experience designing a wide range of products for a variety of manufacturing processes and materials.
Stock Products & Basic Customisation:
If you don't need fully bespoke products, we can source high-quality stock items and apply your branding — including laser engraving, embossing, printed logos, custom colour options, and branded swing tags or labels. Stock is a cost-effective route for businesses looking to build an own-brand range without the lead times and costs of ground-up development — and it doesn't mean compromising on quality. We leverage our existing supplier network to find the best products at the lowest prices with the smallest minimum order quantities.
Non-Outdoor Products:
Packaging, Point of Sale & Print
Like our products, all of our commercial packaging and point-of-sale materials are designed in-house — we can design and manufacture branded packaging tailored to your product and audience.
Like our products, all of our commercial packaging and point-of-sale materials are designed in-house — we can design and manufacture branded packaging tailored to your product and audience — from retail-ready boxes and card inserts to drawstring bags, tissue paper, stickers, roller banners, and printed instruction cards.
We can adapt the packaging for both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail. Whether you need a premium unboxing experience, functional packaging that protects your product in transit, or in-store displays and point-of-sale materials, we'll get it right.
Please see our commercial packaging & point-of-sale materials portfolio below for examples of our work.
Shipping & Customs
After the design & manufacturing process, the final piece of the puzzle is shipping & customs. We've built a reliable shipping network for the retail side of our business.
After the design & manufacturing process, the final piece of the puzzle is shipping & customs.
We've built a reliable shipping network for the retail side of our business — and we use the same network for our business customers, providing fast, reliable shipping from factory to your door.
We offer multiple shipping options — air, rail, and sea freight — giving you the flexibility to balance cost against delivery time. We can also arrange DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) shipping — essentially an all-inclusive price with no import duty surprises.
Once your goods reach the destination country, we handle all customs clearance and import duties. We work directly with professional shipping forwarders to ensure there are no unexpected delays caused by inspections or customs issues.
We can also re-pack or combine shipments from different manufacturers for better rates, provide storage in the country of origin, and supply up-to-date tracking at every stage.
We don't add any management fees, or mark up the shipping costs — you just pay the actual shipping costs and we handle everything else until it arrives at your door.
A Cost-Efficient, Business-First Approach to Design
& Manufacturing
Unlike many design & manufacturing partners, the majority of our business comes from retail — and being a business ourselves, we understand the importance of getting costs down as much as possible. We work efficiently and negotiate hard to reduce costs at every stage — development, production, and shipping.
But it's more than just hard negotiation. We apply the same strategies we use on our own products — things like combining shipments, reducing import duties and tariff costs, tweaking designs to lower manufacturing costs, and designing products that can be sold in bundles or used as the base for multiple product lines. The list goes on.
Our Recent Client Projects:
WildWay Bushcraft — Bespoke Field Kits
In this project, we designed and manufactured a set of custom Fire Kits, Field Repair Kits, and First Aid Kits for WildWay Bushcraft — another product in their commissioned own-brand range to be used and sold on their courses and online store. To keep costs down, we designed a versatile, singular pouch that works across all three uses — with interchangeable hook & loop patches that attach to the outside of the bag.
The pouches are manufactured from 1000D nylon and feature a large external Velcro slide-in pocket, multiple internal drop-in pockets for quick access, and one zipped internal pocket. We also worked with manufacturers to source and supply all of the kit contents for the three variants.
WildWay Bushcraft — Bespoke Leather Carving Bibs
In this project, we designed and manufactured a leather carving bib for WildWay Bushcraft — another product in their commissioned own-brand range, to be sold on their website and used by students on their courses. The team at WildWay Bushcraft have been running carving courses for years, and brought a wealth of practical knowledge to the design process.
The bib is double-layered from 2mm thick genuine cowhide leather and features a large internal pocket — a useful area for storing carving knives or paper templates. The pockets have wide side openings, allowing the user to easily insert or remove items without putting down what they're carving, or when wearing gloves. The bib also features a large embossed company logo, genuine brass eyelets, and an adjustable 550 paracord lanyard. We supplied the bibs to WildWay Bushcraft fully assembled and ready for use, as shown in the photos.
Custom Packaging & Point of Sale — Eventyrsport, Denmark
Recently, we were happy to announce the launch of the full Forest Fundamentals range in the Danish outdoor shop chain, Eventyrsport. As part of stocking our products, we had to design a custom set of packaging and point-of-sale materials suited to the shops' general theme and feel.
We designed artwork for all of the products, while also meeting their more practical criteria — such as hanging holes, barcodes, and specific GSM specs to ensure durability. We also designed and manufactured a variety of point-of-sale materials including free-standing wooden displays, information boards, demo materials, and activity areas for children to practice fire-lighting in-store. We controlled the manufacturing of all packaging and point-of-sale materials, delivered directly to each store ready for assembly.
WildWay Bushcraft — Bespoke Ferro Rods & Strikers
The team at WildWay Bushcraft had previously used our own Forest Fundamentals 6" Hive Fire Starters on all of their courses, but found that the strikers weren't ideal for younger students due to some design limitations.
Working with their feedback, we designed and manufactured a set of custom, branded ferro rod strikers and attached them to our own ferro rods. We also made some colour changes to make them more visible if misplaced.
WildWay Bushcraft — Bespoke Retail Packaging
The team at WildWay had recently opened their new online store and approached us to design custom packaging for their products. We advised on designing two sizes of packaging — suitable for all of their current and future product offerings. Instead of placing smaller orders across multiple designs, ordering larger quantities of just two designs allowed us to keep costs to a minimum.
On the construction side, we used high GSM materials and extended gusset folds to prevent any ripping or damage to the products during transport.
Heartwood Rewilding — Stock Products for Courses
A newly founded bushcraft school, Heartwood Rewilding approached us to source a range of quality stock components — including bow drill sets, fire steels, and other essentials — to be used on their courses, as well as a gift set for students to take home after completing a course.
Being a start-up, their budget was tight, so we helped them find suppliers with low minimum order quantities and competitive prices, while ensuring the products were high-quality and arrived at their end destination without any issues.
Our Commercial Portfolio
Our commercial product range is designed entirely in-house and gives a good overview of what we're capable of. We control every stage — from design, material sourcing, and manufacturing through to quality control, shipping, and customs.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Over the years, we've gained a lot of experience working with sheet metal fabrication — including rolling, laser cutting, stamping, and welding, to name a few. If your project involves metalwork, we can handle the full process — from material sourcing with verified Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) through to finished production, ensuring all materials meet the required standards for grade, composition, and traceability.
Textiles — Bags & Pouches
We've designed and manufactured a growing range of bags and pouches, made from a selection of materials including 1000D nylon, cotton canvas (waxed and unwaxed), wool, and polyester.
We understand that the small details are what separate a functioning bag from a great one. Every design is field-tested — checking practical details such as fastener usability with cold hands or gloves, item access, snagging, and fit, to name a few. On the manufacturing side, we ensure durability through techniques such as reinforced stitching, proper bar-tacking, and considered pocket construction.
We also have experience working with MOLLE/PALS webbing systems and can advise on material selection for MOLLE straps, spacing and tolerances, and ensuring compatibility across varying MOLLE configurations.
CNC Machining
CNC machining (Computer Numerically Controlled) is just a fancy way of describing any machine that's operated or controlled by computers — this includes laser cutters, water jet cutters, and milling machines, to name a few.
Much of the development and manufacturing of our commercial range is done with CNC machines — from the cutting of materials for our bags and pouches, to the milling of our aluminium oil inserts.
We also have a lot of experience working with various CAD programmes to draft digital mock-ups and final manufacturing drawings (2D & 3D) to be sent directly to the manufacturers — ensuring there are no mistakes after pressing start on the machines.
Hand-Making & Hand-Assembly
Though we don't hand-make any of our handmade bushcraft products ourselves anymore, we do have a network of hand-makers in the UK and overseas who are able to produce at a consistently high quality.
Much of our handmade range is crafted from natural materials such as leather, wool, and cotton canvas. Over the years, we've learned that natural materials often require more careful quality control and inspection compared to their man-made counterparts — from colour consistency, spec, and quality issues to traceability — and we have robust processes in place to manage this.
Branding & Customisation Methods
When it comes to branding or tweaking stock products, there are a few go-to manufacturing processes — laser logo etching on wood, logo embossing onto metal, and different types of logo printing on fabric, to name a few.
We have a lot of experience with all of these processes, and reliable manufacturers in place who can carry out any of them.
These processes are a great way to brand or customise products without the hefty start-up costs, running costs, and minimum orders associated with some of the more complex manufacturing methods.
All Other Production Processes
Outside of the core manufacturing processes, even a relatively small commercial portfolio like ours relies on countless specialised techniques — from the alloy casting and surface finishing of our ferro rods, to the fibre spinning of jute twine and the controlled melting and infusion of wax for our Stealth Tinder refill packs. The list goes on.
Even if we haven't encountered a certain process before, we have the know-how and contacts to figure out how something is made as a starting point for the design process.
Packaging, Print & Point of Sale — Portfolio
Over the years, we've designed and manufactured a wide range of printed materials — bags, thank you notes, instruction cards, printed stickers, packaging boxes and tubes, trade-show banners and tents, to name a few.
Below are some examples of the commercial packaging and point-of-sale materials we've designed and manufactured. We have a vast network of manufacturers that specialise in all types of print, across a wide range of materials and sizes.
If you have any ideas for packaging or print, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Ethical Sourcing & Supply Chain Standards
When working with established material suppliers and manufacturers in the UK, EU, and USA — particularly those with recognised certifications, compliance documentation, and a strong trading history — there is often a clearer framework around environmental standards and labour practices.
However, when sourcing internationally, including from China, supply chains can become more complex. Without careful oversight, transparency and environmental or ethical standards can be harder to verify. For this reason, due diligence, direct communication, and clear supplier expectations are essential.
Before working with any new manufacturing partner in China, we request recognised third-party certifications — particularly those relating to labour practices and workplace standards. These assessments are conducted by independent bodies and follow internationally recognised frameworks. We apply the same approach to environmental standards, requesting certification and compliance documentation where relevant — particularly at the material supplier level, where environmental impact is typically greatest.
Elvis, the company founder, also makes regular trips to China to visit and inspect partner factories first-hand — spending time on the factory floor, meeting the team, and gaining a broader understanding of the people behind the production to ensure standards are maintained long after initial approval.

Frequently Asked Questions
If developing a fully bespoke product, design drawings are not required — we can produce these in-house and make them suitable for the manufacturers. That said, a detailed idea of the product's function, features, and materials is extremely useful — it helps cut down time and costs on both sides.
We don't charge any upfront costs. Our pricing is structured in two main ways:
Labour costs — We don't charge for phone calls, emails, or general communication — but we do bill by the hour for design work, drafting design drawings, and sourcing new suppliers. We charge a flat rate of £33.61 per hour, and we work efficiently to keep billable hours to a minimum. The number of hours varies depending on the type and complexity of the product.
Commission on production — We charge a commission of 10–20% on the final production costs. This covers all of our work coordinating manufacturing and shipping with suppliers, managing material deliveries, and allows us to cover our costs when organising any repeat orders.
Shipping — We don't mark up shipping costs. We bill you the same rate that's been quoted to us by the shipping companies.
Yes — for all projects, no matter how complex, we will always arrange finished samples to be inspected before starting production. For more complex projects, we will often arrange multiple samples to confirm materials, design features, colours, and other details.
It's difficult to provide a one-size-fits-all quote — shipping costs are calculated based on volumetric weight, which takes into account the size of the goods as well as the actual weight. As a rough guide, our basic shipping rates are:
Express Courier — £6.30 per kg ±15%
Air Freight — £4.74 per kg ±15%
Road Freight — £2.55 per kg ±15%
Sea Freight — £1.90 per kg ±15%
We handle all customs clearance and import duties on your behalf, working directly with professional shipping forwarders to ensure there are no unexpected delays due to inspections, improper documentation, or unpaid customs fees.
We're also able to provide quotes for DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) shipping, which bundles all import duties, customs costs, and VAT into the shipping price — ensuring there are no hidden fees after shipping or when goods reach the destination country.
This depends heavily on the complexity of the project. For more straightforward work — such as sourcing and branding stock products — we can usually get samples confirmed and goods shipped within one to two weeks.
For fully bespoke designs, the process can take anywhere from two to four weeks, sometimes longer depending on complexity. After getting all of the project details, we'll be able to provide an accurate estimate of the timeline.
For basic customisation of stock products, the minimum order is typically around 50–100 pieces, depending on the type and complexity of the product.
For fully bespoke designs, we're generally looking at 100–300 pieces.
We'll always discuss the MOQ and what's feasible before starting a project — and we'll do our best to find manufacturers, or use our existing network, that are open to smaller starting quantities. Often, simple adjustments like small design tweaks, a change in materials, or alternative production processes can help bring the minimum order quantity down.
That's exactly what we're here for — to draft the final design and production drawings. A rough idea is absolutely fine, but a good general understanding of the size, colour, materials, function, and key design features is very useful before getting in touch.
Yes — we can work with your existing manufacturers, regardless of their location.
We don't offer these services in-house, but we do have an existing network of photographers who specialise in outdoor and bushcraft products. We can pass on their details after starting the project — and we've also negotiated better rates with these companies on behalf of our clients.
Unless you already have material suppliers in place, we will source all materials as part of the project — coordinating deliveries to the factories, as well as managing testing, traceability, and quality control reports.
This very rarely happens. Before production, we draft detailed design drawings and quality control documentation, and test pre-production samples to catch any issues early. We also communicate with the manufacturers throughout production to make sure nothing is missed.
On the rare occasion that something does go wrong with the finished goods, we will handle it for you — remaking as many units as needed at no additional cost to you.
Our expertise is primarily in bushcraft, outdoor products, and packaging/point-of-sale materials, so we aim to prioritise work in these areas. That said, we are able to design and develop products outside of this field. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with an idea — we can discuss the details and let you know if it's something we can help with.
