Bags and Pouches (6)

We are pleased to finally make some of our new bags and pouches available. Bag design is something we particularly enjoy at FF, and we've got plenty of ideas in the pipeline, with more new designs coming soon.

Our focus is on purpose-built bags, built to perform a specific task, without unnecessary features or bulk.

Much of the designing of our bags happens in the field. We put our bags through their paces, identify any potential flaws or weaknesses, then head back to the drawing board to figure out how they could perform better.

Depending on the bag, our main materials are 500D and 1000D nylon, the same hard-wearing materials widely used in military backpacks, pouches and other load-carrying equipment.

They're known for their excellent abrasion resistance, tear strength and durability, making them particularly well suited to the outdoors.

We’ve also recently teamed up with a company specialising in waterproof TPU coatings. Many of our bags now feature a thick internal TPU coating, creating a highly waterproof barrier that’s extremely resistant to cracking and tearing.

All of our bags are designed to be water-resistant, but only certain products, most notably the Pack Extender 15L, are designed to be completely waterproof.
