Upgraded Stove Bag MK2
ReviewsIntroducing the new MK2 Upgraded Stove Bags! The general design remains the same, with a few major improvements made largely based on customer feedback.
To create a truly functional nesting system, all of your fire, cooking and water gear needs to fit within one setup. While the stove provides space for all of the cookware, as well as some storage in its base, it lacks room for other essentials. The new stove bags are designed to fill that gap, providing storage for anything that doesn’t fit inside the stove itself.
NO INTERNAL POCKETS
Inside the bag there are no internal dividers, just open, usable space. Flat seams throughout also prevent snagging when inserting or removing the stove.
ENCOMPASSES THE WHOLE SYSTEM
The bags are designed to hold the whole nesting system, including the stove, cup and bottle. We’ve kept the height of the bags to a minimum so that they push down on the bottle slightly, preventing vertical movement or rattling when being carried.
TWO EXPANDABLE POCKETS
Two side pockets made from 4-way stretch nylon expand to accommodate gear of varying sizes. Elastic webbing above the pockets helps keep longer items, such as utensils and alcohol fuel bottles, securely in place. The webbing above the pockets also comes in two sizes, 25 mm and 50 mm, to accommodate gear of varying widths.
LARGE FRONT POCKET
A large external pocket with a secure Velcro closure to accommodate larger cooking, water and fire essentials that don’t fit inside the main nesting system, such as tea, coffee, a Millbank Bag and electrolyte tablets.
CONNECTING POUCHES
When the Zipped Organiser Pouches are especially full, there sometimes isn’t enough space to fit them inside the base of the stoves.
The pouches now clip onto the bottom of the Upgraded Stove Bags using two G-Clips, keeping everything together.
100% WATERPROOF
Made from 1000D nylon with a thick internal TPU coating and a zipped lid with hidden zips, keeping your gear completely dry when strapped to the outside of your pack.
PRACTICAL DESIGN FOR USE OUTDOORS
Enlarged zipper pulls, pocket flaps and extra space around the stoves make the bag quick and easy to use, even with cold hands or while wearing gloves.
BULLETPROOF DESIGN
Constructed from thick 1000D nylon with a thick internal TPU coating, taped seams and reinforced stitching in high-stress areas to protect the bag from scrapes, snags and knocks in the field.
SHOULDER CARRY & HANGING
Two D-rings on the sides allow the bag to be easily adapted for shoulder carry or hung up around camp.
Upgraded Stove Bag MK2
The bags are now made from a higher-quality 1000D nylon with a thick internal TPU coating, providing better waterproofing as well as increased protection from snags, scrapes and tears.
We’ve also added two rows of PALS webbing, making the bags fully MOLLE/PALS compatible. They can now be attached to any pack with PALS webbing using MOLLE straps or G-Clips.
As the bags can now be carried on the outside of your pack, we wanted to make sure no water could get inside. We’ve scrapped the old drawstring closure and replaced it with a new zipped lid with hidden zips, preventing water from entering through the top of the bag.
The two side pockets remain the same size as before, but are now made from 4-way stretch nylon, allowing them to expand and better accommodate larger items such as alcohol fuel bottles.
We’ve also added attachment points to the bottom of the bags for our Zipped Organiser Pouches. If your pouch is packed too full to fit inside the base of the stove, it can now be secured underneath the bag using two G-Clips, keeping the entire system together.
We’ve also increased the overall dimensions of the bag to make removing the nesting system easier. The front pocket has been enlarged too, providing more space for cooking, water and fire essentials that don’t fit inside the main nesting system.
