Our Artisan Tinder Pouches are a great all-around utility pouch. Handmade using thick 16oz canvas, it is extremely durable and will last a lifetime! They are the perfect pouch for foraging, traveling, fire kits, tinder, and much more!
The Martexin Original Wax used to waterproof the pouches produces a superior finish that is virtually water-proof. Martexin Wax is made using a blend of non-hazardous food-grade waxes. The unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to weathering and as it ages, it develops a well-worn patina.
It is perfect for a range of bushcraft uses including storing tinder, foraging edibles, herbs, and storing utility items. However, we want to stress that the pouch hasn't just been designed solely for bushcraft. The pouch is also a sustainable, water-proof, and high-quality alternative to disposable wash and utility storage bags.
Includes silk embossed Forest Fundamentals signature logo. Silk embossing is waterproof and resistant to cracking.
We have chosen to use 550 'Survival' paracord for the lanyard. This cord includes materials including copper wire, fishing line, waxed jute, and parachute cord. These materials serve a multitude of purposes in the field, including repairing shoelaces, fishing, constructing snares, building shelters, and more.
We put great emphasis on the ethical and sustainable sourcing of materials. The bags are made using 80% recycled canvas and a plastic toggle which is fully recyclable.

Only just been delivered, so not had a chance to get out and use either the tinder pouch or ferro rod/striker. But I must say I’m super happy with the quality of both items I ordered, they are well made and look like they will earn their place in my bag.
I'm running out of superlatives to describe my FF purchases, so I'll just repeat what I've said about everything else... the build quality is fantastic, the materials are great and I know this thing will last me years. It doesn't hurt that it looks great too. Now I'm off to see what else I can buy.
This is quality pouch to carry essential survival gear in.I can highly recommend this anyone who is serious about carrying survival gear when camping, hiking or even in case of being stranded in this winter weather if your car should break down

Extremely well made and definitely water resistant! The level of wax used is also just right, the bag is not too stiff and is very pliable
Perfect use this to store birch bark, fat wood and dry tinder/kindling while wild camping it’s waterproof and packs away small when not completely full or is empty. Also stores a lot more than I initially thought it would very pleased with this product.

I’m really pleased with this. It’s a really useful size but packs down small when required. Very well made and feels very sturdy. I ordered two but only received one and am still chasing the second one which I would definitely like given the quality.

This is a very high quality item and perfect size for collecting twigs and tinder. Thick waxed canvas but pliable and heavy-duty waxed type drawcord. This is just what I was looking for and again, its very well crafted. Very pleased.
