Introducing the Forest Fundamentals Trail Utility Panel! Inspired by the iconic U.S. Armed Forces VS-17 panels, with a few design changes tailored to support bushcraft use.

Like the VS-17 panels, it’s double-sided: one is bright pink for high visibility in dense forests, especially during autumn, while the other side is high visibility orange, ideal for standing out against rocky landscapes.

Each side has four reflective strips that catch light effectively for enhanced nighttime visibility.

Being two colors, the panel can also be used for communication within a group. You can quickly arrange it in configurations like a cross to signal for medical help or use it to mark the location of your camp for others in your party. The included instructions outline all the possible configurations, which can be adapted to convey different messages or signals within your group.

The panel includes eight reinforced attachment points, eight ball bungees, and 10 meters of reflective orange paracord, allowing you to secure it between trees, display it as a flag, or fasten it to your pack.

All components are neatly packed in a bright orange, 100% polyester drawstring bag, with extra space for essentials like a head torch or compact med kit.

The Signal Panels are heavier than other lightweight versions; made from durable double-thick 600D polyester, these panels are built to support a variety of bushcraft applications and are not limited to signaling alone.

Some bushcraft uses include providing a dry base for tinder processing, carrying firewood, collecting water, laying out tools like sewing needles or cooking utensils, and creating temporary shade in hot environments.
