After the success of our new Nylon saw bags, we decided to start making versions from waxed cotton canvas — Introducing the new Artisan Saw Bags!
Belt-Loop Carry: All sizes of bags include a large belt-loop that accommodates all belt sizes. When carried on the hip, the bags are also spacious enough to easily drop the saw one-handed.
The Materials: We hand-make the bags from thick 12oz Cotton Canvas that’s waterproofed using Martexin Original Wax. The wax is made using a bend of non-hazardous food-grade waxes, that produces a visually waterproof finish. The unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to weathering and as it ages, it develops a well-worn patina.
Non Silky Brands: While we primarily designed the bags for full compatibility with the Silky folding saws, the middle size will accomodate most other brands of folding saws comfortably.
The Making Process: All high-stress areas of the bags are reinforced using double over-lock stitching, and high-quality cotton thread. Genuine brass fixings are also used.
Securing the Saws: Each bag includes one brass press-stud to ensure the saws don’t accidentally slip out. The closed top also helps prevent any rain from getting inside the bags.
Bigboy Design Changes: To accomodate the Bigboy’s size the belt loops are set slightly lower on the bag so that the saw to rides higher on the leg and prevents it from restricting mobility.
