Bags and Pouches (11)

Over the past year, we've been busy designing the first products in our new 1000D Nylon range. Bag design is something we particularly enjoy at FF, and we've got plenty of ideas in the pipeline, with more new designs coming soon.

Our focus is on purpose-built bags that perform in the outdoors, without unnecessary features or bulk.

Much of our design process happens through testing in the field. We put our bags through their paces, identify any potential flaws or weaknesses, then head back to the drawing board to figure out how they could perform better.

We manufacture our bags from high-quality 1000D Nylon, the same material widely used in many military backpacks and bags.

It's known for its excellent abrasion resistance, tear strength and durability, making it particularly well suited to the outdoors.

We've also recently teamed up with a company specialising in waterproof TPU coatings, allowing us to develop more waterproof products, coming soon.

Forest Fundamentals began with our founder, Elvis, making and selling handmade pouches on Etsy. While we've grown since then, we've stayed true to our roots, with several of our best-sellers still handmade in collaboration with independent makers.

Our waxed canvas bags are treated with Martexin Original Wax, a blend of natural, food-grade waxes that provides lasting weather resistance and develops a rich patina with age.

We take pride in the details, using durable stitching and quality materials throughout, including solid brass hardware, recycled plastic toggles and 550 paracord.
